Gateway Fee Exporter Documentation

    Overview

Documentation for WebMe Gateway Fee Exporter.

    User Documentation

    Before use

    • WooCommerce must be active.
    • Orders must already contain gateway fee metadata from a supported payment plugin.

    Export workflow

    1. Open WooCommerce > Gateway Fee Exporter.
    2. Set optional filters:
      • date from
      • date to
      • gateway
      • order status CSV
      • resolver status
    3. Run preview.
    4. Review:
      • preview rows
    5. Run analysis when totals or diagnostics are needed.
    6. Review:
      • matched order count
      • totals by gateway/status/currency
      • missing-fee report
      • provider coverage
      • Gateway Coverage Report
    7. Download CSV or manifest JSON.

    Presets

    • Save current filters as a named preset.
    • Load a saved preset from the presets list.
    • Delete presets when no longer needed.
    • Preset last-run time updates after CSV or manifest download when a preset is used.

    Missing-fee statuses

    • missing_transaction_id: gateway reference absent on order
    • missing_fee: expected fee meta absent
    • ambiguous: multiple fee meta keys found
    • invalid_amount: fee or net metadata exists but is not numeric
    • unsupported_gateway: resolver not available for payment method

    Gateway Coverage Report

The Gateway Coverage Report groups the filtered order set by payment method and title. It shows order counts, transaction ID counts, resolver outcomes, and private fee/net-like meta key names with occurrence counts. It does not show arbitrary order meta values.

Unsupported gateways stay unsupported in CSV exports. The report exists to help support identify whether a gateway stores candidate fee or net metadata that could justify a future resolver.

    Manifest JSON use

The manifest JSON is useful when finance tooling needs:

    • export timestamp
    • filter record
    • column list and plugin/schema version
    • aggregate totals
    • missing-fee counts by reason
    • Gateway Coverage Report

    Current limitations

    • Export reflects order metadata quality.
    • Unsupported gateways are included only as unsupported rows, not resolved fees.
    • Paid date is exported as a column only; launch filters use order created date.
    • No payout matching or gateway-side reconciliation is included in v1.
    • No gateway API lookup, credential storage, fee backfill, or accounting sync is included in v1.
